About Embedded Ocean
Who Are We?
Embedded Ocean is a Munich-based software development company specializing in Industrial Convergence, Communications and Control platforms. It was founded in 2020 by four visionaries (Michael, Philipp, Robert and Jesse) who combined their knowledge in different complementary areas (from technological know-how to business acumen). Michael and Philipp had known each other for years and cooperated in several ventures. They met Robert in 2019 while he was preparing his successful exit from his former company. Together with academia specialist Jesse, they decided to pitch their know-how and resources to create a new real-time capable platform from the ground up, not bound by outdated concepts or legacy code bases. Together, these four founders brought more than a century of experience to the table.
We firmly believe that the future of industry is data-driven and are at the forefront of the technological development of making that vision, and the paradigms of Industry 4.0, a reality. Click here to learn more about our mission statement.
